About the Author

A writer shaped by faith, country life, and the beauty of what grows.

Cheryl grew up in the city, but she says there is no city left in her. She loves God, her country, country life, space, birds, flowers, humor, gardening, winemaking, writing, and her beloved green-wing macaw, Sasha.

After many years of full-time work, she now enjoys seasonal greenhouse work and the rewarding sight of empty houses becoming filled with flowers. God remains at the center of her life, and some of her poems arrive so quickly—even in the middle of the night—that they feel like gifts.
